Where research, industry and communities meet.

The Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka has organised a series of international conferences under the AgInsight banner, creating a strong platform for academics, researchers, industry experts, policymakers, development practitioners, students and community stakeholders to exchange knowledge and build collaborations.

Earlier editions have promoted interdisciplinary research dissemination, industry–academia partnerships, innovation sharing, and regional and international networking. AgInsight 2027 is the faculty’s 6th International Conference of Agricultural Sciences.

The theme emphasises collaborative innovation and interdisciplinary partnerships in transforming agricultural systems to become more resilient, adaptive, inclusive and community-centred. Sustainable agricultural development and food security can only be achieved through the collective efforts of scientists, farmers, industries, policymakers, entrepreneurs, students and local communities.
